Update

The kitten, Little Kitty, passed away Monday night.  It's been a very sad week.  Orlan gave me lots of hugs to comfort me.
We will both miss the kitten dearly.

New Kitten

She found the kitten in the Toys R Us parking lot.

Monica dropped this off at our house late Wednesday night.

Adoption Day

We hadn't intended to keep the kitten, but when we went to try to submit it into the Society which fosters kittens, we were informed that our area is over saturated with kittens and there are no foster homes available.  They suggested we take it to the shelter where the kitten would most likely be put-down due to the current kitten explosion and this kitten's need for extra care.

The kitten is approximately 6 weeks old.  However, the kitten is very petite.  Orlan was about this size at only 3 weeks (but a different shape and build).

This kitten is very athletic and has already learned to run fast, play soccer, and is jumping higher and down farther each 6 hours.

Orlan and the other older cats are slowly becoming more tolerant of the kitten. Hopefully, the kitten will be able to integrate into our household well.
