Monica's cat Cotton passed away yesterday, August 17.  He had cancer which had metastasized.  He was a beautiful and sweet kitty and a great companion for Monica.

Cotton is my cousin who is closest in age to me.  He once lived with me for a short time.  One day he walked into my bedroom, glanced out the window, and said, "I like this room.  This will be my room, now."  I stood still like a statue in shock.  "What just happened?"  I thought.  Thankfully, he was ushered back to the other side of the house, after he tried out the large, human bed.  He moved out shortly afterward, much to my relief.
